$20Nothing here came out of a mould.
Raw fleece arrives from highland flocks. It is washed, carded, dyed with azo free dyes, then either wet felted into caves and bags or needle felted, strand by strand, into animals small enough to sit in a palm. A single yak takes an artisan most of an afternoon.
Hemp grows in the hills without irrigation or pesticide. It is retted in river water, spun by hand and woven on treadle looms. Glass seed beads are crocheted onto elastic one at a time, several thousand to a single bracelet.
We use no plastic, no wire, no glue and no synthetic filling in any felt product. That is a constraint we set deliberately, and it is why the nursery range is safe from the first year onward.
