Orange, red, teal and green dinosaurs, stegosaurus, brontosaurus and T-rex, needle-felted with sculpted back plates and stitched eyes, hung from a ring wound in deep blue wool. Small felt balls in red, pink, green and yellow are threaded between them for colour and movement.
The high-saturation palette is deliberate: strong colour contrast is what a young baby can actually resolve, and it is the mobile parents report holds attention longest.
