Hemp is grown in the Nepali hills without irrigation or pesticide, retted, spun and hand-loomed into a canvas that starts stiff and turns soft and supple with a few months of use. This backpack is cut from that canvas, cotton-lined, and finished with reinforced stitching at every stress point.
It carries a 13-inch laptop, a water bottle and a day of gear. The drawstring top with flap closure keeps rain out, and the adjustable straps are padded at the shoulder.
