Every element is felted by hand: the ring is wound in wool, the balls are rolled one at a time, and each animal is needle-felted and hung on natural cotton thread at a staggered height so the mobile turns and settles rather than spinning flat.
Because there is no plastic, no wire and no glue in the construction, it is safe above a crib, and it is light enough to hang from a standard ceiling hook or mobile arm.
