Five geese, each needle-felted in undyed white wool with a hand-stitched yellow beak and outstretched wings, suspended at staggered heights so the mobile turns slowly on the air rather than spinning. Wool balls in natural cream fill the gaps and give a baby something high-contrast to track.
The wings are felted separately and stitched on, which is what lets them hold that flared, in-flight shape instead of drooping. Undyed wool means nothing can transfer or fade in sunlight.
