The yak is the workhorse of the high Himalaya, and these three are shaped entirely by hand, needle-felted from undyed wool in black, brown and grey, then stitched and finished by artisans in Kathmandu.
They are firm enough to stand on a shelf, soft enough for a child to hold, and finished with no plastic parts, no glue and no synthetic filling. Because each one is sculpted individually, the horns, stance and shaggy coat vary slightly from piece to piece.
